The Board of Education is responsible for planning and administering all the educational ministries of the congregation, including Sunday School, Adult Education, Cradle Roll, Confirmation, Adult Membership Classes, the Library/Bookstore, and Vacation Bible School.

Board of Elders
The Board of Elders is concerned for the spiritual welfare of the congregation; they assist the pastor in providing worship services and administration of the sacraments.

Board of Fellowship
The Board of Fellowship is responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing opportunities for social interaction for SMLC. They work in cooperation with the other boards to provide a sense of community throughout all endeavors.

Board of Lay Ministry
Lay Ministry provides support to the congregation individually and corporately through prayer, care packages to college or military members, funeral luncheons, transportation needs; also provides health and wellness information through its Health Care Team.
